Henry Slade had a sash and blind business (windows and shutters) Located on the Mt. Upton -Gilbertsvulle Road between the two towns and in Otsego County. The building is still standing. As a coincidence it was in that buidling which later became a house where my friend Gertie Pierce Boyd who is 89 years old now in 2006 spent her honeymoon. The building is now a fram type structure and has hay and equipemnt in it and sets down off the road.
