Came to America when he was 2 years old, 1902.
August had a garage in Lucca, Cass County, North Dakota abo ut 1925 until it was destroyed by fire. Also, in the garag e he had a generator that produced the electrical power fo r the town. If he was out on a call, Irene had to start th e generator.
