Notes for Jane McKee
"Jane lived a long life, but was blind during her later years. They lived on the Hampshire County side of Timber Ridge, near Lohman's Branch of the Capacon River. The first owner of their land was Elisha Dick of Alexandria, Va., who bought it for an investment. Dick sold the land to John D. Sutton, who sold it to the LaFollettes. William LaFollette built a log cabin with a sturdy stone chimney. They were buried in the Racey Graveyard in Hampshire County."
