Evans. He is buried next to the church in Bethel
Cemetery, Gore Township, Frederick County, Virginia. He was the
father of Elizabeth Ann Evans, wife of Bartholomew
McKee and husband of Frances Hardesty. Right is a portion of
the marriage document between Bartholomew
and Elizabeth showing Bartholomew's
signature and John Evans's mark.
